Two-room or one-bedroom?
When you surf our site you may find unusual marking of the apartments.
We offer 1-room, 2-room and 3-room apartments. What does it mean?
Unlike the USA and Western Europe in Ukraine (as well as in Russia)
a living room is included in the number of rooms. Thus for example
a 2-room apartment in Ukraine equals a 1-bedroom apartment in the USA and
consists of a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a corridor.
Or a 2-room apartment can consist of two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom
and a corridor. Some apartments have a balcony or a loggia.
On the apartment pages you can find complete information about each
apartment - its location, description, household appliances, photos of
the rooms and a kitchen.
The prices are listed in US Dollars per one night but Lviv where the price is given in Euros.
The standard apartments we offer are fully equipped and furnished - decent
furniture, a local phone, cable TV, a refrigerator, a stove, kitchen
appliances, an iron, hot & cold water.
The luxury apartments are equipped better than standard ones and may have
a washing machine, a microwave oven, satellite
or cable TV, a music system, a video, a dish-washer, a Jacuzzi etc.
You can choose and reserve any apartment according to its size,
class, location and price.
What included into the rent?
- the whole apartment with all the furniture and appliances;
- bedding, towels, kitchen equipment, local telephone calls;
- cleaning of apartment with changing beddings and towels once a week;
- our service charge.
INFORMATION FOR BOOKING APARTMENTS
Conditions of the reservation
A definite apartment is available for the reservation for 5 nights of
residing and more. Orders for 1-4 nights are placed on the class of the
apartments which means that we will offer you an apartment that meets your
demands by the location, price and style of decoration (luxury or
standard) and will be free on the day of your arrival.
How to make a reservation
Please, send us an e-mail telling:
- your name, country, e-mail address;
- which apartment(s) you liked (the code of the apartment on our site);
- number of people who will stay in the apartment;
- supposed dates of accommodation (dates of arrival and departure).
During 24 hours you will receive a confirmation for the reservation of the
flat. If the flat is not available on the mentioned dates we
will offer you other apartments which are available for your dates of
stay. After receiving the confirmation that the flat is available
you can make an advance payment (a deposit) during 24 hours. If you cannot
get in time you should ask for the updating of the information about the
availability of the flat because it may have changed.
Agreement about the apartment reservation
If you have chosen the definite apartment on our site and want to reserve
it you have to send a deposit for one (last) day of stay. We accept
payments via Western Union or MoneyGram.
On one hand the deposit is a guarantee for you that the apartment will
be held for you and on the other hand it is a guarantee for the owner
that you will come and rent the apartment for the mentioned term. So you
should do it only when you know for sure your dates of your arrival and
departure. Please be aware that you need a Ukrainian visa to be able to
visit Ukraine.
Please be aware that the check-in time is 14.00 and check-out time is
12.00.
The terms of the cancellation
The deposit is a payment for the last day of stay. If you leave earlier or
do not arrive at all the deposit is not refunded.
In case of unexpected and unsurmountable obstacles not depending on the
UkraineRent that make the apartment unavailable on the day of your
arrival we guarantee that we will reserve another apartment of the same
class with the equal conditions and price or if it is not possible we
will pay the deposit back.
In case you will come and do not like the reserved apartment motivating it
with any personal reasons the deposit is not refunded and we are not
responsible for replacing the apartment. So if you have any special
demands please inform us about them in advance and make sure that the
chosen apartment meets all your demands.
If you do not accept these terms you may not send a deposit. We will
take you to the available apartment when you arrive and if you like it
you will check in.
You have to pay for the whole period of your stay at the rented apartment
as soon as you check in. The deposit (if has been made) will be reduced
from the total cost.
Pets
Presence of pets in the apartments is forbidden. If you want to stay in
our apartments with the pets it is necessary for you to inform us about
it and receive the special sanction. If you have not received the
sanction for residing pets your order can be cancelled without any
reimbursement. In this case the advance payment (deposit) is not refunded.
TOURIST INFORMATION
The South Coast Of The Crimeа
This narrow strip of land between the Black Sea and the jagged ridge of
the Crimean mountain chain has the warmest weather in Ukraine and is
consequently mobbed from May to September. The natural attractions are
worthy of such attention: the mountain landscapes are simply stunning and
there are plenty of miniature beaches hidden between bits of rocky
coastline. The "Russian Riviera" actually does have a Mediterranean type
of the climate complete with aromatic shrubs, sunshine and dry air, by any
comparisons fall short of describing the very unique world of the Crimean
shore. Common definitions of people, land and nature don't apply on the
southern coastline where seemingly separate worlds gather, play and relax.
The biggest cities of Yalta
and Alushta are the most active centres for
accommodation and transportation as well as a useful starting point for
mountain treks. The Russian/Ukrainian nation has been vacationing in this
spot for over two hundred years and certain coastal areas a tad
overdeveloped. Bolshaya Yalta
(Greater Yalta)
is expanding to a continuous
holiday-zone between Foros and Gurzuf, Greater Alushta
covers the area
from Partenit to Alushta,
but this has not erased the distinct character
of the smaller seaside towns within. These little hovels were Mecca of the
Soviet Bohemian movement and there are still tiny patches where travellers
sleep on the beach and live off the fish and clams they catch. People
seeking a quiet rest by the sea (or mountains) have usually discovered
their own secret spot to which they return year after year.
Yalta
Yalta
is a most popular tourist trap and should be enjoyed as such, for
the town holds more of an appeal than its stony urban beaches and imported
palms. In the shadow of the overpriced concrete high-rise hotels there are
still the fanciful turn-of-the-century beach houses now overgrown with
vines and flowers and the solemn glow of the
Yalta
lighthouse. One
used to think that Soviet citizens went crazy about Yalta
only because
they were not allowed to go anywhere else, in which case the sweeping
mountain-view against the open sea would be truly spectacular. But now
that people have the freedom and money to travel elsewhere, over two
million 'locals' still head to Yalta
each year. The town's romantic nature
still remains. National park completely surrounds the city and many
smaller trails branch off from the outskirts. Getting to any spot along
the southern half of the coast usually entails passing through Yalta
and
it can be a good base from which to hike Ai-Petri, the Grand Canyon and
"Bear-Mountain" (Aiyu-Dag).
Where to stay in Yalta
Yalta
is made out of hotels but still provides a relatively small supply
when considering the inflated demand. The result is complete overpricing
and a lot of difficulty in getting a hotel room during the highest season:
most resorts have three to four different prices depending on when you
come. July and August are often double the price of January-April. New
Year, May-June and September are in between the two.
The option for a reasonably priced stay in Yalta
is renting a private apartment, which is at least 50% cheaper than luxury hotels like Oreanda

There are separate apartments with one or a few rooms, a kitchen, a
bathroom, a toilet and a corridor, sometimes with a balcony.
Also there are hotel-type rooms with a common kitchen and bathroom or
rooms with a private bathroom and a common kitchen or without a kitchen at
all. Having plenty of cafes and restaurants all around it is not a problem
to find a place to eat.
The peculiarity of the resort area is the fact that the owners of the
flats and private hotels try to use the floor space as effectively as
possible which means that they place as many beds and sofas in the rooms
as possible. Thus a 2-room flat here actually is a two-bedroom flat
without a living room, like a two-room hotel suite. Sometimes the same as a
hotel suite the flat has no kitchen.
Usually the apartments have a TV set, a refrigerator, a gas stove,
cold running water, a bathroom with a bathtub or a shower, a toilet.
The central supply of hot water is available at certain hours in the
most areas but the centre of Yalta.
If the apartment has a gas or electric water heater hot water is available round-the-clock.
Very few rented apartments in the Crimea have a phone.
